I told my mom I think I am #ActuallyAutistic and it went better than I even dared to hope. I was so nervous about this conversation but it turned out she knows more about it than I expected her to, and thinks the idea of me being autistic is totally plausible. She's even in favor of self dx and shares my reservations about trying to pursue a dx from a doctor. She encouraged me to reach out to y'all in the autistic community and said so much more that was positive and affirming. I'm crying right now I'm so happy and relieved. I have no idea what I was even worried about. God I love my mom. 😭🥰😮💨
