ugh now i remember why i always have my homedir on a separate drive. that way, the system does not become completely useless and unresponsive if i am doing a copy-everything
apparently SSD's are cheap now. 256 GB only costs 15 €. maybe i can buy one of those next month, that will definitely be more fun
