Reputation spoofing is a technical impossibility on Bisq Easy.
What allowed for the scams is the possibility given to buyers to take offers from sellers with 0 reputation for amounts up to 25$.
This showed a very scary warning saying how that was a risk, but scammers usually made offers at a discount and people decided to take that risk anyway.
Reputable sellers have skin in the game, and a very strong disincentive to scam people for a few dollars.
Next release of Bisq2 will remove any possibility for sellers to participate in trades without a reputation score at least 200x the dollar amount of the trade.
