Whenever a Youtuber asks you to "smash" that like button, or make a comment below, they are, without telling you, asking you to game the Google/YT algorithm to boost their earnings.
Now, I don't have any issues with boosting earnings. At all.
But I do want ppl to be transparent about it. And too many YT'ers have forgotten that comments are a discussion, and community building, not just a one way tool to boost income.
Some do engage in discussion. Some, unfortunately, do not.
