All the BSDs have the source right there as part of the install. For those who really want to explore and understand the operating system or play with things to see how they work, they make it very easy.
For example, if you use the beadm command, you can break the OS and then just reboot into the previous snapshot. Super useful for tinkering/learning with a safety net.
