I’ve spent a significant number of sats opening nearly 100 channels over the past two years and never closed a channel. I’m proud to say that I’ve collected a whopping 1,214 sats in fees and have 14 open channels remaining. What I’ve learned is that channels should coincide with a relationship of some form because each channel requires maintenance and care over time. Setting up new channels randomly doesn’t really seem to work at all, at least in my experience. If you’re setting up 1,000 year channels, feel free to connect. 😂
