A weird thing about a Crohn’s disease flare-up is it feels like a personal failing. My next injection is just a couple days away, I have read other Crohnies get symptoms as their last treatment runs out, but still this feels like my fault, a personal defect. Like I should have done better, somehow.
My next Skyrizi injection is scheduled for Tuesday. My Crohn’s symptoms are acting up now; I wonder if I should do it a day or two early. The $20,000 (retail price) medication and “on body injector” are in my fridge now, so I could if I wanted.
