Fleet Admiral Vance clearly refers to Saru as Admiral in the wedding scene. Doug Jones has said it was mistaken dialogue by Oded Fehr and was supposed to be "Ambassador" obviously. Yet, they didn't edit it out. So, does that make it canon that he's an admiral and an ambassador in 3191?!
