Naming conventions aside, I don't understand why Apple's "Good, better, best" system is called "confusing" by people.
Is it really that hard to tell people they have three options? That it depends on the port in their iPad?
Sure, customer support is awful and people are generally ignorant, but you're basically asking "do you want the cheapest one or the one that does more?" Then pointing to their answer.
Or does everything Apple have to be set up as overly complex and difficult to understand in order to generate more clicks?
