idea: use #nostr for recording track contract splits. A "lightning spotify" client pulls these splits, which are cryptographically signed by the track's artist(s). The client streams sats in realtime to them. Basically podcasting2.0 but for music and over nostr.
Nostr has the benefit that it's easier to query than rss and doesn't require you to run a server. I think it would work well for this use case.
