I worked as a youth worker for a number of years (as I reflect on it, I began in the field as a youth myself).

I shifted career focus, and because of this, I didn't provide youth directed service for a period.

In my current role, work with both youth and adults.

What I'm most delighted about: I still have that natural gift of engaging authentically with youth.

How can I tell? Their facial expressions say:
"You're an adult that REALLY listens to me without judgment."
