I am still :ablobcatsweatsip: ing (nprofile…5dmj) more of a “you googled a solution to some annoying problem and found a forum post from five years ago, and now hibernation is broken”. the wiki has a lot of information about common problems and up to date solutions and recommendations, and if you follow those it’s generally a smooth sailing. the only time i had a problem that wasn’t my fault was when i didn’t configure xorg launch on startup and that messed up the way alsa interacts with dbus in a very esoteric way, but i solved it by enabling x auto start.
i recommend reading the entire article about pacman first or at least learning the key points from it, i think 90% of all issues with arch “breaking randomly” is people refreshing the repos without a system update or uninstalling dependencies
