Drew DeVault (npub1d88…57ex) I installed FreeBSD on an ancient X200 recently, to start daily-driving it again. Sort of a test-bed prior to switching over my main machine (a desktop), while I work out the kinks in my setup scripts and make them play nicely with 14.1.
Sourcehut is one of the few websites I use regularly that performs well on such old hardware (Core 2 Duo w/ 4GiB RAM). Not only is it fast, the layout is just fine for a small screen.
Big 🤗 for some quality software 🎉
