So, two weeks ago Colorado (which already had the most H5N1 infected dairy farms at 50+ herds) became the first state to order that dairy farms had to submit a milk sample from their mixed "bulk" tank for testing. Today, the first results came back and they found NINE more infected herds.
More than HALF of all of Colorado's dairy herds are infected.
