Never did I feel like this until tonight where I bought a TV season for $30 to watch and thought that I truly don’t own the season. I realize I will own nothing “and be happy”. If Amazon goes under or I get cancelled or decide to cancel my subscription I lose my purchase. This would be just another thing keeping me subscribed to the platform as I am now in a vice grip where if I own many TV shows or movies or whatever I now have something to lose should I cancel my subscription. Horrid feeling and I’m not saying these I would cancel. Is this where #NFTs come in? Is this where a blockchain will keep our purchases verified showing we own them on a decentralized platform that is not controlled by anyone similar to owning a DVD copy of a movie but in a cloud? Where true ownership occurs?
