I'm just wondering how such a space elevator would get built if we had the material to build it. Would we fly SpaceX Starships to GEO or would we fly a significantly bigger payload to LEO and ion-thruster the payload to GEO over months or years? I think the latter would make more sense as it would take years to build anyway.
