This feels a bit like gmail undo, and I never have used it. I could see it being useful for some, but like some said at #nostrica, there is beauty in the mistakes.
I do think there is some value in ephemeral notes. Unlike conversation, notes can live forever. Even today we see that be used against people who may learn, change opinion, and grow as people. I would love to find a way to promote that type of growth on nostr instead of continue the trend of canceling people for what they may have posted about a decade ago. Maybe they needed to learn, grow, or found themselves in a bad place at the time. Social media today promotes judgement, would love to see nostr promote understanding.
