Ironically I still buy a lot of groceries, but it's a choice instead of a necessity. We have enough protein production, lamb, rabbit, eggs, chicken. We still like to eat beef, pork and fish. We are close having all our dairy covered but last winter we ran out of frozen milk. Basically, we have a long way to go before we have all the food growing here and preserved to only have to buy minimal groceries. However, should shit hit the fan we will not starve for a long time.
