Guess it really depends on the device being used. I'm pretty much just use the desktop only. Primal works well for me on the desktop in combination with the Alby browser extension.

Once she accumulates enough sats, she will want to move those sats from the Alby wallet to a self-custody wallet. Mutiny Wallet works well on the desktop for self-custody too.

For mobile, one should remember these are corporate control devices unless you are running Graphene OS on Pixel device.
