On wikipedia: It's compromised as hell on certain topics. And I'm not just talking about liberal biases, I've heard you can't trust any article about a pharmaceutical drug, since the pharma companies control what is and isn't allowed on those pages.

Also I'm pretty sure the way sources work, people can source incorrect information and it gets accepted. As long as any news org published it, they hold that as the level of truth. Also these examples are pretty good:

TLDR: Wikipedia is great for things that are solid facts, and is a great starting point for some topics, but I don't trust it at all. If I want to learn about something I'll check the article on wiki then just get a book about it :shrugz:
