To prepare for the activity, first you choose a shape and draw it on the paper plate then cut it out. Second, use your hole-punch to make holes along the shape. Secure one end of the yarn in one of the holes, and the other end to the needle. When the child is done sewing tie a knot in the same hole she started sewing.
