Hackers trick people into installing software that contains infostealing malware. The way they do this is to put out malicious ads so that when you e.g. search for Sparrow Wallet on Google, they will have an ad that acts like the real deal that points to a website they control and serve malicious code from. You download their «Sparrow Wallet» app and they have control over your computer.
