I don’t think I mentioned it here, but I recently watched the entirety of Twin Peaks for the first time a few months ago. (I did an entire thread of real-time reactions over on Bluesky and it got weird).

That makes me a newcomer to anything David Lynch.

But even watching it in a world that spent the last 30 years riffing on Twin Peaks, it was clear that he was a one in a million master of his craft.
