I see that people are pointing out Octavia Butler's book, Parable of the Sower today -- which talks about climate change, wealth equality, and corporate greed in a dystopian future. The book starts out on Saturday, July 20, 2024 (!).

It's a great book (well written and topical), but never has made it to our local library system here--I ended up buying an electronic copy to read it some years ago, the *only* electronic book I have ever purchased on Kindle, actually.
