I'm slightly biased on the RepRap front :) They're a bit of a project, mind. The Mendel is a good early generation design - the Prusas are based off it - and if you want a tiny version of the same there's the Huxley. That's even less practical, but very cute. The MINI+ requires a lot less fiddling to keep going. Even though I made RepRap, I use a Prusa Mk4 for real work these days.
