2511(c), (d), (e) explicitly use the word "contents". It could be argued that extracting ad keywords or general semantic information but not full text doesn't count as "contents". Whether that's true is a question for a jury, but it's at least plausible.
But (a) and (b) only use the word "intercept". Which seems more general to me, and might cover this sort of minimization to extract meaning but not full text.
Whether it's interception or not is a completely different question.
