A university tilde account. LOL. I had put up a "site" with friends in 1992-93, but my first website in 1995 was hosted on the University of Maryland servers. Somebody in the library hosted a basic class on HTML. If I were teaching intro to web design today, I would start with the basics I learned from that class.
