Because I keep things (phones, computers, cars, me) until they fail I usually buy the best available that I can afford, but I'm not liking most of what seems to pass for a laptop from dealers now. Everything's "AI" and such crap. I used to successfully use ebay for my servers in the past so yes, good idea!
