He’s not doing that. If you’re a pleb miner with negligible hash you can only solo mine as a gambler - hoping to hit the lottery jackpot. You don’t even have to run a node with a pool like that. That’s not real mining. While datum allows you to construct your own block template - in other words you decide what txs to include or exclude from the blockchain. That’s the definition of solo mining. With solo mining pools you hash whatever template the pool has constructed. It doesn’t help decentralisation and it makes little to no economic sense.
