Obviously there are some who are but but I don't think it's fair to characterize everyone who discusses a project without understanding the ins and outs as malicious or you'll end up treating completely normal interactions as hostile when they thought they understood enough of the situation.

For sure people could always go and ask a question on a projects forum/reddit/chat room or anything else they may have for discussion.
