Dear someone in the UK: reveal to me why bringing identification to a vote polling station is a bad thing? I’m sure there are good reasons that I don’t see, as I also see normally sensible people complain about this requirement.
Over here it would be unthinkable to go to a polling station without sufficient ID (no, a utility bill isn’t it, nor is a signature on a credit card) and also a voter registration proof, which then should be as uniquely set out to the person on the photo ID, which should look like the person holding both.
