Maybe I woke up on the wrong side of the coffin this morning, but I'm sick and tired of the argument that the federal government shouldn't do things that the private sector can do instead.
The private sector is only *barely* good at squeezing out every dollar from the risk/reward equation - it's absolute shit at delivering things that people want and need.
The new IRS Direct File pilot is a perfect example, but we need more of these disruptions whose main innovations are cost and quality.
