*I don't want alternate search engine recommendations, please. I'm not a single person with a problem I'm observing a problem for everyone.

And I already use non-google search as my default. I used duckduckgo for a time, but got frustrated with how it handled searches of message boards and reddit so I switched to yahoo... but yahoo is terrible at searching for the *intersection* of two things, it only returns the most popular of the two.

And all of them are full of spam sites.
