There is definitely a tendency among many and temptation for many others to worship bitcoin the way we are tempted to worship any good thing. Our loves need to be rightly ordered and bitcoin needs to be kept in the proper place of a good ans powerful tool for human fliurishing. Amen and amen to Jesus Christ being savior and Lord.
I will respectfully counter your point, however, that the passage you site is how things end. That's not exactly how things *end*. Things end with Christ reigning and His Church victorious. With the earth full of the knowlede and glory of the Lord.
This passage does what is done throughout the book of Revelation (and various places in the OT) which is use economic language as a means of describing kingdom allegiances. The language of exchange is primarilly spiritual in nature here.
