a while ago I bought one of those cheap Wanptek 30V/10A bench supplies - the model with CV/CC and OCP, memory buttons, and the USB A fast-charge port on the front. it cost about £60 on AliExpress, and it's been quite good for the price. the voltage regulation is reasonable. the voltage slew rate in CC mode is quite slow, but that's not the end of the world.
I just picked up a second one on the 11/11 sale, for £35, after seeing SuperHouseTV's neat bench setup with XT60 connectors for power.
