Unpopular opinion (?): I want to have, and would use Nostr more often with, some sort of algorithmic feed.
Give me control though: let me select from many open source models, give me a simple UI for tweaking the weights of each parameter (that I can turn on or off), and just give me control to experiment.
Twitter’s stickiness came from users crafting their own extremely unique experience over years. It’s also why conversion of new users was so hard - they didn’t ‘get it’ until they had a sufficiently built out experience of accounts followed or content mix.
I’m feeling a little bit that way - stuck or stale atm - and I think suggestions of popular notes/accounts or ‘things I missed between sessions’ would be beneficial to the ecosystem.
