#WritersCoffeeClub 12/14 Is it okay for a book to be purely entertainment, or must it have meaning?
Entertainment is meaningful in its own right.
In any case, I do not believe its possible to write (or create) anything that is entirely devoid of meaning. Even the silliest, stupidest farce is a product of the culture it came from and the author. Therefore it must contain some statement on how one affected the other even if the author did not intend to include "meaning"
