How do I nicely tell a new friend who wants to hang out that I don't have the mental/emotional capacity for that? Despite enjoying being on stage, I'm often an introvert. As long as I get out once in a while with the band, I'm happy most nights just chilling with my wife and watching TV.
It doesn't mean I don't like you. It means I don't like going out all that much.
