I’m not superstitious or invested in magic thinking, but I have found myself unable to wear the Purple Rain shirt I was wearing the day I liquified my ankle.

In the past 2 years I’ve pulled it out of the closet a few times, getting as far as piling it with the clothes I’m gonna put on after my shower. But I just ball it up and toss it in the hamper after I get to the point of almost pulling it over my head.
But I won’t donate or toss it either.
