it's a shame, really.
Google controls the web spec, for all intents and purposes. They don't, but if they don't want to support something, it might as well not exist. Likewise, if they support something and nobody else does, that's a moot point with a vast majority of the userbase.
This means that without significant cash and effort, you're not going to find another browser, that runs on a totally different backend, which can keep up with Google.
What a shame.
