OK, first big wtf moment with the new QidiTech printer: it can't seem to decide what its Z-offset is! I first tried setting it in the printer.cfg, but that apparently gets ignored. Using the printer's built-in UI, I got a value of -1.23 (which is weird because that's the 'wrong way around'), whereas when I start a print, it magically decides it's -1.38!

Anyone know what this might be?
