I was lazy to fix my ethernet cable for a very long time. Half a year ago the speed dropped to 100 mbps with lots of errors. But I was still lazy to do anything about it. Today the speed dropped to 10 mbps so I finally cut the cable where it was hurt and installed two new female RJ45 modules to patch it together. Now it's gigabit again.
I could have fixed it last year, I know...
