The Liberal party has always been right around the centre. They may list slightly left or right depending on the political winds, but anyone expecting radical change was going to be disappointed.
It would be nice to have an alternative, but the CPC have completely gone off the rails with Trumpian rhetoric, and the NDP continue to be lost in the wilderness.
