I lost an expensive pair of boots in September. It was a day I was taking lots of trains and buses and doing a good bit of walking to and fro a thing in Kildare. I figured I left them in a bag on some form of transport.
Just now, I found them in a bag in a drawer.
Three weeks ago, I bought the exact same pair again to replace the old ones.
I am finding this both very funny and deeply unfunny.
