Dictator ERdoğan decreed a new Governor over Turkey's Diyarbakır Province in Turkey-held part of Kurdistan in the southeast.

They are supposed to be party-politically neutral, but once again Erdoğan chose a party politician of the dictator's own AKP, who until just 3 months stopped being elected Mayor of Trabzon for AKP in the northeast.
The Governor is the one appointing a new "trustee" (de facto regime-puppet, sometimes even appointing themself as their "trustee") to replace the representatives chosen by the people in local elections when the central regime systematically usurps those election results as it has done to the overwhelming majority for the outcomes of the recent several election-cycles if the people chose the only major anti-racist parties, HDP, DBP or DEM popular in primarily the southeast where minorities of Turkey remain majority.
Such "trustees" have in previous cases been found after leaving the post to have essentially looted the local public economy and various other sabotage.
