Linux Mint hiding unverified Flatpaks by default is probably enough for me to stop recommending it as a beginner distro. It was stupid when Fedora did it and it's stupid now.

I'm so tired of recommending distros but then having to follow it up with a list of things users need to do in order to make them usable. It's overwhelming to new users and frustrating to keep track of.
