Cats love meat/fish. Forget commercial cat food. We used to get a sissal rope and wrap it around a post so they could scratch their itch😉. Gave them climbing ladders indoors to tops of cabinets etc. I would wrap a towel around my arm so they could bite,claw and scratch away as if fighting to satisfy that urge. Good luck!
