Can you clarify what your issue with the lnaddress is? I'm not trying to be confrontational, I'm really just confused by all sides of this discussion and trying to understand the pros and cons.
My understanding of the lnaddress is it's kind of like chapters, but for value. I send a request to any server that supports the lnaddress, they send me back an array of payment methods. I decide the payment method my app sends the payment via based on whatever I support. But I may be confused.
