Do you reuse characters?
Tales of Ardonna takes place across 3 timelines. A good portion of the characters have the ability to live through them all, depending on when they were born. If I need someone for something I always start with my character spreadsheet to see who already exists that would work. Minor characters in one book get their chance to shine (or debase themselves) in another.
