I don’t MIND costumes or whatever, hell look at what Ghost does. I think it’s appropriate. It’s just that costumes aren’t equitable to music. Costumes can sell an image well that the act is trying to cultivate, but when the music is shit, you already know where the heart got poured into. The insubstantial image cultivation.
